We have signed a contract for the construction of an operating room and a new cardiothoracic surgery subunit as part of the existing Cardiology Department with a Cardiac Intensive Care Subunit and an Invasive Cardiology Subunit at the Provincial Hospital of St. Father Pio in Przemyśl. The contract was signed on behalf of the hospital by Dr. Barbara Stawarz, the director of the provincial hospital, and Łukasz Kutyba, the representative and director of the Rzeszów branch of Adamietz, in the presence of Władysław Ortyl, the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
The facility will be built in a “design and build” format and includes a full range of works – from architectural and construction design to equipping the operating room, including an angiographic examination device. The planned completion of the works is March 2025.
Project details:
The new department will consist of 24 beds, including 7 for cardiothoracic intensive care.
The design also incorporates observation and intensive care sections as well as social and technical facilities.
Director Barbara Stawarz emphasizes that the new investment will significantly increase the safety of patients with heart diseases, offering them comprehensive care: “This is dear to our hearts! That’s why we care about the highest standards of quality and safety, which is critical when creating specialized buildings.”
