As part of the expansion of Nutricia facilities in Opole, the Silesian branch of Adamietz is implementing one of the largest investments by Danone in Europe.
The new production hall, with a volume of 68,610 m³ and a building area of 6,122 m², will become one of the key facilities in the production of enteral nutrition products. The medical specialization demands the factory to uphold the highest standards of innovation and quality. The production of enteral nutrition diets in convenient, self-sucking bottles will strengthen the position of the Opole factory within the global structures of the company and ensure the country’s food security.
▪ The facility, equipped with CIP systems and sterilization technologies, has been designed to meet the highest production standards. The design also includes areas that minimize the risk of contamination, such as sloped enclosures and rounded edges. Polyurethane floors with a thickness of 0.8 cm and stainless steel underfloor installations ensure durability and resistance to high temperatures.
▪ To increase logistical efficiency, the warehouse has implemented VDMA grinding methods, allowing for fully autonomous storage and transport systems. Moreover, a heat node with a power of 1.05 MW and three independent cooling systems (2°C, 9°C, 25°C) will provide optimal production conditions.
To meet the deadline for handing over part of the hall for machinery installation by July 1, 2024, a special scaffolding platform has been constructed beneath the roof, enabling simultaneous work on the floor, installation of systems above the ceiling, and roofing. The use of movable spatial scaffolds further accelerated the construction of reinforced concrete walls, allowing for quick relocation of formwork to subsequent concrete pouring stages using a crane.
