Our Leszno-based Infrastructure Division of Adamietz S.A. is carrying out the construction of the northern bypass of Kościan along regional road No. 308 – one of the key infrastructure investments in the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) region. The project is co-financed by the Government Road Development Fund.
Current progress:
- Earthworks are being carried out along almost the entire 4.3-kilometre stretch – terrain profiling, subgrade stabilisation, embankment and cutting construction, and culvert installation are underway.
- The main focus of works has shifted to the forest section in the area of Kurza Góra.
- At the most advanced bridge structure – overpass WD1 above Poznańska Street – the abutments have been concreted.
- Reinforcement and formwork works are ongoing at the viaduct support on Czempińska Street.
- The foundation of the first abutment of the viaduct over the E59 Poznań–Wrocław railway line has been completed.
The scope of the investment includes, among other things, 4.3 km of a main road of class G adapted for heavy traffic, 3 roundabouts, 3 viaducts, and over 2.2 km of access roads with full accompanying infrastructure.
The completion of this investment will redirect transit traffic away from the centre of Kościan, relieve Gostyńska and Grodziska Streets, and improve the safety and quality of life of residents throughout the Kościan district.
Planned completion: 2027.
