On 9 October 2026, during the Builders’ Day gala at the Arkas Hotel, the Opole Regional Chamber of Civil Engineers (Opolska Okręgowa Izba Inżynierów Budownictwa) presented its industry awards for projects completed in the region.
The title of Construction of the Year in the Opole Region was awarded to the work carried out by Adamietz S.A. at the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Opole. The award was accepted by Szczepan Kusibab, Vice President of the Management Board and Corporate Director at Adamietz S.A., together with the cathedral’s parish priest, Rev. Waldemar Klinger. Ms. Małgorzata Kałuża-Swoboda, Director of Investment Process Support, played a major role in coordinating the project’s complex formal and documentation procedures.
The title of Engineer of the Year of the Opole Regional Chamber of Civil Engineers in the category of construction manager and works manager went to Sławomir Babik, Director of the Project Office at Adamietz S.A., who led the conservation and construction works in the cathedral. The scope included, among other things, the exposure of historic wall and floor relics, the laying of a new floor, and the adaptation of the crypts for practical use.
An individual distinction was awarded to Krzysztof Hendel, construction manager at Adamietz S.A.
