Official Opening of the Hospital of the Hospitaller Brothers (Bonifratrzy) in Katowice

On June 24, the modernized Hospitaller Brothers of St. John of God Hospital in Katowice was officially opened. Combining the competencies of Adamietz SA and Adamietz Warszawa, we served as the general contractor for this investment — carried out within an operating healthcare facility. Modernizing a hospital without halting its operations is a task that leaves no room for scheduling errors.
The scope of work included:
🔹 rebuilding the operating block to the highest standard,
🔹 modernizing the central sterilization unit,
🔹 works on the 1st floor of buildings B and C,
🔹 modernizing the basement area in building C,
🔹 a range of additional modernization works,
🔹 supply and installation of three new elevators, including two passenger elevators and one freight elevator,
🔹 adapting the facility to fire protection regulations by separating the staircases.
We would like to thank the Hospital Management, the President of the Management Board of Bonifraterskie Centrum Medyczne, the Investment Coordinator, the Provincial of the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God, and the Prior of the Convent of the Hospitaller Brothers in Katowice for their trust, and the consortium team for their tremendous commitment at every stage of the modernization. This project is an example of how synergy of actions, good communication, and partnership collaboration become the key to shared success within the strict timeline of the National Recovery Plan.
