Kościan is getting a bypass. We are building it. Yesterday, at the Greater Poland Marshal’s Office, we signed a contract for the construction of the Kościan bypass along provincial road No. 308. Our branch in Leszno will carry out the project – selected from among 9 companies that entered the tender. The signatories of the document were: Paweł Katarzyński, Director of the Greater Poland Provincial Road Authority, and Arkadiusz Majorczyk, Director of the Leszno branch of Adamietz S.A. What will be built? 4.3 km of main class G road adapted for heavy traffic, 3 roundabouts, 3 viaducts (including one over the E59 Poznań–Wrocław railway line), 2.2 km of access roads, and complete accompanying infrastructure – from stormwater drainage to the reconstruction of power networks. The current “three-oh-eight” cuts straight through Kościan. The bypass will divert transit traffic away from the city centre, relieve residents, and open up new opportunities for local businesses. We would like to thank today all those involved in the preparation and implementation of this key project – the provincial authorities, local government officials, designers, and all those who support this initiative. Construction work will begin soon and continue until October 2027.
