Innovative reconstruction of the rolling mill for Cognor Holding S.A.

As the General Contractor for the construction and installation industries, we have commenced Phase 2 of the Reconstruction of the Small Rolling Mill for Cognor S.A., Ferrostal Łabędy Branch in Krakow. The project involves installing an innovative line for coiling ribbed bars – the Spooler.

The project manager from Adamietz Sp. z o.o. is Przemysław Majchrowicz.

Our efforts focus on creating the infrastructure crucial for the assembly and commissioning of the production line, particularly specialist foundations and technological installations. The scope of work includes:

▪ Demolition of existing infrastructure

▪ Construction of specialized technological foundations for the new rebar coiling line

▪ Construction of oil cellars and installation of the hydraulic power station ▪ Construction of above-ground electrical buildings with reinforced concrete ducts for installations

▪ Construction of a tank for used process water along with the necessary infrastructure

▪ Installation of approximately 15,000 m² of industrial flooring in the warehouse area

▪ Supply and installation of steel structures, technological line barriers, platforms, and communication pathways

Overall, the project involves embedding approximately 3,500 m³ of concrete, 400 tons of steel, and 1.8 km of fittings.

Project duration: February – October 2024.
