With a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony, ADAMIETZ has begun construction work on the expansion of the Karolinka Shopping Centre in Opole, carried out on behalf of NEPI Rockcastle. The ceremony was attended by: the Mayor of Opole Arkadiusz Wiśniewski, Deputy Mayor of Opole Maciej Wujec, NEPI Rockcastle Development Director Rafał Elżanowski, NEPI Rockcastle Asset Manager Paulina Kurdziel-Świeczka, KAROLINKA Shopping Centre Director Aleksandra Szrajer-Kolanko, Marek Gachowski of the Arkus Bis design office, as well as Adamietz S.A. President of the Management Board Rajmund Adamietz and Adamietz S.A. Vice-President and CEO Łukasz Obrusznik. The project is being carried out by the ADAMIETZ Łódź Branch under the supervision of Branch Director Łukasz Przybyłek. The scope of the investment will include the construction of a new part of the building with an area of nearly 8,600 sqm, located between the main entrance and the food court, comprising approximately 30 new retail units and an underground car park beneath the new section of the building. Due to the specific nature of carrying out the works at an active retail facility, the schedule provides for some stages to be carried out even at night.
